As of today, January 12, 2024, the Paris Prefecture is temporarily not scheduling any new appointments on their old website.  They have updated their website actively working to address the backlog and the new link for the website to book apointment now is THIS.

If you don’t get your prefered appointment date you can contact Prefecture in Paris directly or do the following:

• Check the Prefecture’s website regularly for updates on when appointments will resume.
• Call the Prefecture’s helpline at 08 10 00 24 48 (available in French only).
• Consider making an appointment at a different préfecture or sous-préfecture outside of Paris.
• If you are unable to make an appointment, you may be able to submit your application by mail. However, this may take longer than making an appointment in person.
